The Fuse scenario features great new tracks from Kenji Ito, and is full of new content. SaGa Frontier Remastered continues the series’ reputation of being unforgiving. New Main Character, Fuse The new main character, Fuse, can be played once certain conditions have been fulfilled. It’s still better than just having everything go blurry and a fight starts though As well as a unique levelling technique, SaGa Frontier Remastered has a very unusual way of telling stories, whereby there are eight playable characters (up from seven in the 1997 release) and each of them are in the same world, but they are different stories. While he does go into some new elements, it’s literally nothing that’s not covered by previews and he even makes the mistake of comparing all races to humans rather than focusing on what makes them actually different.Įdit: After getting the game and seeing some of the changes, I'm getting more and more convinced that he just made his review based on factoids he read on the remaster (and possibly playing the original, though all his spoilers are easy to find in youtube videos too) and that he didn't actually play the remaster.
